We are ready to get some new t-shirts to mark a new era of the Hort Club, and we want your help! If you want to participate, here's what you need to know:
Howdy plant people!
Just a reminder that our second meeting will be Wednesday October 1st, at 7:00pm in HFSB 104. If you need directions, there's still a map posted in one of our previous posts.
This meeting will mark the beginning of B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Plant), so if you have a plant of any kind that you love, bring it with you! If you potted a seed at our activity last meeting, you can even bring your newly sprouted plants to show it off. We'll be displaying them in the front of the room during the meeting, and if you want to give an introduction to your prized plant, there will be time for that too.
We've got a great meeting planned for y'all, full of food (Italian! Come hungry!), fun, and of course, plants.
Can't wait to see everyone there!
Thanks and gig 'em!
Howdy plant lovers!
First of all, a big thank you goes out to all of you who came to see us at the AG Open House and the MSC Open House! We got to meet so many great people, and we hope to see you all at the first meeting.
Our first meeting is going to be on Wednesday, September 17th at 7:00pm, in HFSB 104. Food, as always, will be provided!
If you haven't been to HFSB, here are some directions!
HFSB is on west campus, by Wehner. If you are taking a bus, you'll need to first get to main campus, then get on one of the buses to west campus. If you are driving, parking in lot 74 is your best bet. In lot 74, there is a row of pay-to-park spaces, and since our meeting is after 5:00, parking in these spots will cost only a dollar an hour. In the map below, the HFSB building is in blue.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
Thanks and gig 'em!
Today from 1:00-5:00 is the MSC Open House, so be sure to stop by and check out the awesome organizations this school has to offer. While you're there, come by the Horticulture Club booth and grab a flower pen!
Can't wait to see you there!
